Professor A. Reza Hoshmand was the Director of General Education at the Hong Kong Baptist University. Upon retirement in 2019, he joined the Global Institute of Service Leadership Education as a senior advisor to the late Mr. Po Chung, the Institute's chairman.
Before coming to Hong Kong in 2011, he was the Dean of Business at Daniel Webster College in New Hampshire, USA. He has taught in California (Cal Poly, Pomona), Boston (Harvard), and the University of Hawaii. As a Fulbright Scholar at the City University of Hong Kong in 2008, his research dealt with foreign direct investment in China. He has worked with the USAID and UNESCO on projects in Brazil, Cameroon, Yemen, and Malaysia.
